“Keeled Shield”

This painting is a Sigil of protection for us all. Reptiles are protected by scales, a layer of modified hairs/feathers that are often “keeled” - with a little ridge running down them that makes them stronger.
As much as I want us to stay centered and balanced, and co-create a beautiful new reality from the situation we now face, I want us to be and feel safe while we do it.
So I took my magic wand (aka paintbrush) and got to work on a rosette of keeled scales that form a shield with a small crystal ball at the buck...
